Kurhotel Skodsborg has announced that it will once again host the Nordisk Retreat. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2025, the retreat is set to return, in collaboration with Slomo, from 4th to 6th February 2026. 

The Nordisk Sanse Retreat offers attendees a chance to step back and reset, slowing down and restoring balance amidst the stillness of Nordic midwinter. The three-day retreat includes contrast therapy, cold water swimming, soundbaths, yoga and meditation, and will, for 2026, centre on the Danish term Sanse, meaning awakening the senses. It will offer a programme of somatic practice and embodied movement designed to encourage mindful connection, full-body presence and restorative renewal. 

The retreat is hosted by leading figures in the UK and Danish wellbeing sectors. Slomo’s Rob da Bank – a DJ and meditation teacher, and co-founder of Camp Bestival – will host alongside Kurhotel Skodsborg’s contrast therapy experts, Bo Berlin and Tania Bill Petersen.

Set against the backdrop of Denmark’s pristine coastline, just north of Copenhagen, The Nordisk Sanse Retreat blends ancient Nordic practices with Slomo’s Next Generation Wellbeing. Each host will use their skills to create an immersive experience that fosters connection and imparts simple preventative Nordic principles for a healthy life to a group of just 20 guests.

In addition to enjoying yoga sessions overlooking the forest, expert-led SaunaGus, Baltic dips, and next-generation wellbeing, guests will have full access to Kurhotel Skodsborg’s award-winning spa, which offers 16 different cooling and warming experiences, plus access to fitness classes. 

The retreat packages, starting from £800 per person per room, include two nights in a standard double room and all meals featured in the retreat itinerary, including breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner.
