Since late 2020, Bluey and her family have been taking the UK by storm. Kids and parents alike have been charmed by the energetic antics of these Australian icons. A new global collaboration has been revealed that will see fans able to build their own Bluey, as The Lego Group and BBC Studios come together to captivate kids off-screen as well as on it.

The new partnership will see six Lego Bluey products unveiled this spring before being released for sale later in the year. The kits will be within the Lego 4+ and Lego Duplo ranges, making them perfect for smaller hands and minds to create their own Bluey adventures.

Lego has inspired imaginative roleplay and creativity for generations. A pile of alluringly coloured bricks on the floor is difficult to resist, no matter how old you are. This perfect pairing of Lego and Bluey will be no different as parents and children play out the antics of Bluey, her little sister Bingo, and their highly relatable parents, Chilli and Bandit Heeler.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring together the worlds of Lego Play and Bluey with the team at BBC Studios. It’s been a long time coming and we believe that this partnership is a match made in heaven for younger builders and families alike. Just like the Lego brand, the Bluey brand has play at the heart of everything they do, which aligns perfectly with the Lego brand values and mission.” said Michaela Edgerley Stovicek, Head of Preschool at the Lego Group.

Julie Kekwick, Head of Licensing Hardlines Consumer Products at BBC Studios, added: “We’re thrilled to partner with the Lego Group for Bluey! We believe that LegoBluey products will offer families a fantastic new way to engage with beloved characters and stories from the hit animated series, cultivating even more imaginative play inspired by the Heelers”.

Bluey is the number one kids show on ABC Australia, CBeebies and Disney+ in the UK and on Disney Jr in Canada, Spain, Portugal, Poland and South Africa, and with so many fans worldwide, Lego is on to a winner.

We can’t wait to see the much-anticipated brick-built family when they hit the shelves later this year.
