The UK’s largest official Harry Potter shop has opened its doors on Oxford StreetExternal link. Inspired by Diagon Alley, the flagship store spans two floors and offers exclusive merchandise and interactive experiences, with plenty of wizarding excitement along the way.

The Harry Potter franchise has had unprecedented success, with millions of fans spanning all ages around the world. It’s been almost 30 years since the first book was published and 25 years since the first movie hit cinema screens, and the opening of the Harry Potter Shop in Oxford Street is likely to tempt even more witches, wizards and muggles into the wizarding world.

Harry Potter Shop Diagon Alley

The store is designed to be as immersive as possible, with visitors stepping directly into Diagon Alley rather than into a conventional shop. Throughout the store, themed exhibits and photo opportunities for fans range from a full-sized Knight Bus to an Ironbelly dragon.

Whether you’re looking for a wand at Ollivander’s, your own wizard’s robes or want to create your own personal bear, dressed in a robe and gown, at the Hogwarts Bear Ceremony, the Harry Potter Shop has it all.

What wander in the wizarding world would be complete without a trip to the Leaky Cauldron for a glass of Butterbeer? Themed treats, including hot and cold Butterbeer, and even Butterbeer-flavoured ice cream will make it a memorable experience.

“It’s such a special place and a brand-new way for fans to experience the magic,” said actor Warwick Davis. “From the replica of my Griphook costume to the Hogwarts Bear Ceremony, all the way up to the Leaky Cauldron, I’ve loved seeing everything the shop has to offer and can’t wait to welcome fans in.”

The store officially opens at 10 am on November 4th 2026, so if you’re looking for an exclusive Christmas gift for the Harry Potter fan in your life, this is the place to be!
