As we head towards summer, M&S Food rosé season has officially launched nationwide with the brand’s biggest-ever rosé range, which features 10 new additions for Summer 2026.

Led by M&S Food ambassador and Hollywood Icon Dame Joan Collins, the season has been kicked off in style, with all the glitz and glamour you’d expect from such a legendary figure. With a glass of her favourite M&S Rosé La Balconne Organic ProvenceExternal link in hand, Dame Joan encouraged us to ‘begin sipping’ – responsibility, of course.

For 2026, M&S Food is forecasting a “pink summer” and peak sales of one bottle every two seconds during peak periods. M&S is inviting customers to raise a glass and discover their perfect rosé in stores nationwide. And to help encourage customers to celebrate rosé season, M&S is offering an exclusive 10% saving all summer long when you purchase any four bottles in store.

“Rosé season has arrived, though I’ve never been one to need permission to pour a glass,” said Dame Joan. “Who needs the South of France when you can simply glide into your local M&S Foodhall and find the finest rosé right there? You don’t need a Riviera postcode, just impeccable taste…preferably chilled.”

‘This summer, M&S is helping everyone find their perfect shade of pink, with a stunning selection of rosé wines,” says M&S winemaker Belinda Kleinig. “New wine on the block is our Lisboa Bonita Rosé from sunny Portugal – fresh and elegant, it’s made for easy sipping. For picnics and summer parties, our brilliant-value Italian Rosato pouch is perfect for sharing. Whatever summer brings, you can always rely on a glass of sunshine when you have a rosé in your hand.”

As well as enjoying a chilled glass, Dame Joan shared her top tips for the perfect glass of rosé. She says that rosé always tastes better with a lovely view. Whether it’s the picturesque surroundings, a sunlit terrace, or simply being with the right company, it all counts. She also feels that rosé is sunshine in a glass. It should be enjoyed come rain, shine, or any type of weather. We couldn’t agree more, Dame Joan – Cheers!
